Chemeketa Foundation Scholarships

The Chemeketa Foundation has over 175 different scholarship funds and awards more than 350 scholarships annually. Scholarship funds do not need to be repaid and may assist with the cost of tuition, fees, and required educational expenses. Learn more about these internal opportunities, application windows and the submission requirements on our Foundation website. You can also contact the Foundation Scholarship Coordinator at email or 503-365-4747.

For quick reference:

  • Chemeketa’s Scholarship Application can be found here: Foundation Scholarships Application. Scholarships may be awarded based on merit, financial need, field of study, etc.
  • To apply, you will just fill out one general application to be eligible for all scholarships throughout the academic year.
  • While you will not need to apply for individual scholarships, you can see our list of current scholarships here.

Other Scholarship Resources

Besides internal opportunities, you can find other scholarship opportunities advertised outside of the Chemeketa Foundation system. These external awards can be from private organizations, local community organizations, state grants and “one-stop shops” with lists of valuable information about multiple scholarships for students. You can find some of these in our External Scholarship Opportunities Tab.

Scholarship Websites

You can explore vetted and reliable scholarship websites to look for scholarships. Please keep in mind the following:

Additional Foundation Resources

The Chemeketa Foundation office works closely with the college’s Resource Navigator to provide basic needs resources at the college and in the community. A basic need refers to essential services that support your well-being and directly impact your ability to remain enrolled in school. Our navigator may provide support for Housing, Food, Transportation, Childcare, and/or Health Care. Visit our Student Resources page for more information.
