The library catalog now has audio books that you can download for free to your PC or MP3 player. Library2Go is a new service provided by CCRLS and the Oregon Digital Library Consortium. You may use a Chemeketa ID or a public library card from Marion, Polk, or Yamhill Counties to check out an audio book from the Library2Go site at http://library2go.lib.overdrive.com.
Library2Go is easy to use. The site includes both textual help and an audiovisual tutorial that shows you how to download the free Overdrive software and check out books.
You may have a maximum of 6 titles checked out from the Digital Library. Downloaded titles are checked out for 10 days and are automatically returned to the library.
Please note that at present iPods are not compatible with this technology.
