Another useful search tool is a search directory. Search engines attempt to look at as many sites as possible using software. Directories on the other hand are lists of sites categorized by people. Google has a directory which was created by The Open Directory Project (http://dmoz.org).

 

 

 After searching in goolge, you can click the directory tab at the top of the google results page to try the same search in the Google Directory.

Now try your own search in Google, then try switching to the directory to see what results you find there.
