I need to find a new apartment! My apartment is terrible! When I moved in last year, everything was OK, but now everything is bad.

My roommate, Carl is very messy. He leaves his clothes on the floor and his dirty dishes on the kitchen table. He never cleans up after himself, so the apartment is very dirty. Carl also has a pet. His dog, Rover, chews on the furniture. The couch and chairs in the living room are torn. Rover even chewed on my favorite CDs.

There are many problems with the apartment too. The refrigerator is broken. The heat doesn't work. The paint is peeling. The faucet is leaking. There are cockroaches in the cupboards. The window in my bedroom is stuck so I can't open it.

That's not all. Our neighbors are noisy. They have parties late at night, they play loud music, and they have loud arguments.

Now I am reading the classified ads looking for a new apartment. There is a one-bedroom apartment on the other side of town for $400 a month. I am calling the manager now. I hope I can move in soon!
