Chapter 2: How’d They Do That?

In this chapter, you learned more about technology and how it is used in computer animation and the world of movies. You also learned the basic steps to making a short presentation about a process. You will now have a chance to explore the web in search of a topic that interests you. You may use the information you collect to give an oral presentation in class.

Search the following sites for tips and helpful ideas about making effective oral presentations.

2) Presentation advice

After completing Activity 2, you should have enough tips to help you put together a great presentation. Search the following sites for topics that interest you.

2) Look at these links:

• eHow.com: clear instructions on how to do just about anything
• "Topics of Interest" page from the Ohio University ESL page
• How stuff works

 

2) Go to Google (http://www.google.com/) and type the topic of your interest. Possible examples are:

• inventions
• technology and computers
