| Week 7 - What did you learn? | ||||
| Use this page as a checklist for what needs to be done, besides the discussion.
This is a week for coloring and drawing. Really a "right brain" activity. Your job is to get the feel of mapping. Most students use this when it is time to study for a test and they have a large amount of material to cover. By mapping they can condense it to a manageable amount. The organization and color help them to remember the concepts. Assignments for this week: Directions: Place your descriptions of your mapping activity in your homework folder. Place your field trips in Wk 7 - Field Trip folder.
Create a mind map, complete with color, different size type, pictures, branches and arrows. See how imaginative you can be. Your map does not have to match the one in the answer key. As a matter of fact, I'll bet it's better than the answer key, if it is more personalized. However, you do have to have all the concepts listed in the answer key. To get your points for this assignment, describe the process of mind mapping and what you did. What worked for you and what didn't work for you. Also include any ideas about how this might be used for college studies.
