When and Where: We will play on Wednesday, March 11 at 6 pm in the building 7 gym.

Who: Erik Jensen (ejensen6@chemeketa.edu, x7838) will be organizing the staff team, while Dave Abderhalden will be organizing the student team. Players of varsity sports at Chemeketa are ineligible. Students must be enrolled and taking at least 6 credits for winter term.

How: We will play two 20 minute halves with a shot clock and a 10 second back court limit. The team with the highest number of points will be declared the "winner" and will have the score written in permanent ink on a glow-in-the-dark basketball.

Extras: There will be pre-game and half-time entertainment. It will be free and open to the public.

Results: The staff earned a stunning victory after scoring the last 10 points of the game. Jeff Williams eared the MVP with rebounds, blocks, and scoring from all distances. Surprise sub player/coach Dave Abderhalden hit a game icing banked 3-pointer after chucking up several bricks earlier in the game. Wynn Cudmore provided a lift offensively in the first half while Manuel Guerra did so in the second. Johnny Mack and Ed Casarez provided solid defense and rebounding. Mike Evans and Nathan Pratt stepped up with careful ball handling and opportunistic scoring. Patrick Lanning showed his wheels in stopping multiple fast break attempts by the students. Erik Jensen contributed at the free throw line, courtesy of some charitable officiating. The students were unable to get many 3-pointers or lay-ins with their half court game, but they had great success with their mid-range shooting and fast breaks.
