Oregon has adopted these for all students. You might want to see the standards for the particular grade level that you are working with under Profiles in the link below.

National Education Technology Standards (NETS) for Teachers

Here is the NETS for teachers list online.

This will be the basis for your portfolio. You can't work on all of them this term, but you can make a start. Select those that you would like to focus on and personalize these for you. For example, you may be working with 4th graders (or you may have children in 4th grade), so under the standard

I. Technology Operations and Concepts

the performance indicator wants you to demonstrate a knowledge of NETS for students. However, you might want to choose to focus on the NETS for 4th grade students. Even here you might want to narrow the focus instead of taking on all 6 standards for students, you might want to focus on just a just #1 Basic operations and concepts and #4 Technology communication tools.

Write these out very specifically. You CAN and probably will delete items that do not come up and add other items that you find. Remember you are building a portfolio and these are the guidelines or the signposts along the way.
