Learning Assignment: How
Stuff Works Go
to the web site below to find out how something works. First choose
an item. You must check with me to see if the chosen item is okay; I
don't want more than one student doing any given item. Then research
how the item works and make notes on the information. You will be
asked to get up and explain the item and how it works to your classmates.
You may draw a diagram on the board, use the instructor's computer to show
the web page and go through the explanation, or rely on your notes.
You must turn in whatever you use for your presentation. YOU MUST
TAKE NOTES ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND TURN THEM IN AFTER YOU PRESENT YOUR
MATERIAL. This is to show what you learned about note taking as well
as what you learned about the item.
