Chemeketa Community College is a public two-year college located in Salem, Oregon, USA. Chemeketa was established in 1970. We are committed to transforming lives and communities through exceptional learning experiences. We serve over 7,000 FTE students every year. We offer over 120 different certificate and degrees. These include university level career technical, university transfer and Intensive English. Through the International Programs we provide assistance to you through your transition process to the USA. We offer arrival and housing assistance, orientation, academic and immigration advising, tutoring, health care assistance and insurance coverage. Chemeketa is an excellent place for international students to feel at home and connect with a healthy diverse community.
Over 175 students from over 43 different countries gather at Chemeketa each year to study Intensive English or an academic program. At Chemeketa, you can earn a transfer degree to a four-year university or obtain a two-year technical degree to begin a career.
We also provide services for local students interested in developing their global competencies through international experiences which includes Service Learning and Study Abroad.

The following are estimated expenses for living and attending school in the United States for nine months. This does not include the three-month break, travel to and from your home country, or tourist travel while attending school. If you plan to remain in the U.S. during your three-month break, you will need to add additional living expenses to your budget.

Tuition estimates are subject to change. Estimates are based on average full time registration. Credit level programs require a minimum of 12 credits per term at $256 per credit. Intensive English credits are charged at $165 per contact hour. Required fees include mandatory Health Insurance. Academic fees vary depending on course registration.
